"YOU ARE MY HERO"

By: Kelly Terry-Willis & Wendy Colburn-Blanco

Kelly Terry-Willis and Wendy Colburn-Blanco wanted to do something special to help raise money for the Brian Terry Foundation. Together they came up with an idea to write a children's book. The book is about small pieces of Brian Terry's life and incorporated into a story. It is a story that teaches children the meaning of perseverance and how hard work pays off. Kelly Terry-Willis writes, The illustrations were drawn and kindly donated by Sean Colburn. If one child can walk away after reading this story and learned what is meant by 'putting in the work' then we did our part. Brian Terry was a man who always believed that putting in the work was important to reach your goals.
